OOpenbve crashing after loading route and train

I get this error message no matter what route or train I try to use. openbve itself opens fine but when I try to run the route, I get this error (see attached). Any ideas?

Sure you dont have the files on a write protected disk? Or are using any of the files in another program?

Try mocing the files to another folder and see if it works then.

Thanks, tried that but it didn't work. File is default location on c drive so it shouldn't do that anyway. I tried on desktop, it was just the same. Nothing seems to be being used by anything else either.

I also have that error occasionally. Don't remember offhand which routes or trains cause the problem. Will take notes the next time it happens
