OO & N Gauge Dapol Thumper

Was looking on Dapol’s website earlier and found out that they will be producing both N and OO gauge ready to run class 205 (2H) DEMUs for the Kernow Model Centre. The model is being laser scanned from a real 2-H currently in preservation to allow for a very accurate depiction of detail, shapes and angles. It is expected that the model will be available next year.

They also seem to be producing the class 86 electric locomotive in N gauge which is to be released early next year. An N gauge catenary system is also in development.

Theres an excellent article in the latest Model Rail (Class 50 on Dawlish on the front) about how Dapol have laser scanned the Thumper.

A few of them would bring a hint of zest to my layout, I sure do miss them at Uckfield......

One would have to prize one's fingers away from the DCC controller to go out!
