Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone has advice on buying a OO type 3? I am looking to pick up a class 37 and would like to get a decent unit for reasonable price. Reasonable detail and I dont care about the sounds and digital control features. I use streight DC track current. Maybe one of the Class 37/6 units for my proposed Eurostar fleet? Then naturally I am wondering who makes the Eurostar barrier flats?

Robert

Vi trains 37 is cheap and comes with loads of detailing parts that you have to fit yourself so you can have it as detailed as you like and it's a good runner very powerful don't know if they do a 37/6 though. And the bachmann 37 is by far the most accurate 37 but there more expensive

Yep I agree Vi Trains are actually pretty good, great runners and a fairly accurate representation of the 37 and reasonably cheap the Bachman models are amazing though but they are a bit more expensive but well worth it! Bargains can be had though, so shop around!

Nobody does an EPS 37 at the mo. Lima did an inaccurate version about 10 years back. Hattons have a couple of Bachmann variants on offer at the mo. Stunning models!

Ebay is your friend buddy.
£39 plus £3 Postage and Packing (could be more to "Across the pond" though) £42 though equates to around $64 according to Google currency converter.
