I understand the train involved was 2M55, the 1707 Southern service from South Croydon to Milton Keynes Central.

Not wanting to get too detailed, but did you deliberately say 'passenger' as in someone fell from a platform/train, or was it a non-passenger?

No, it was a random choice of wording. Should have been "person".

Odd that, I noticed a lot of BTP officers on Euston around 1730 this evening (I missed the disruption by about 45 mins). There were a few Spurs fans knocking about and Birmingham were at Fulham in the football today, so it may have been in anticipation of that, but there still seemed an awful lot more than I remember there being on a typical Saturday afternoon.

As ever, thoughts with those affected both on the railway and deceased's side.

I left at 1940 on the delayed 1907 Liverpool, lots of BTP due to various football events.

Reported as a one under at Leighton Buzzard, thoughts with the driver and family.

I passed through Euston a couple of times today, once around lunchtime and around 1900 (missed the incident at LBZ - I was on the 1750 from Northampton).

The station was really busy both ways, nt sure what was going on. At lunchtime the Underground booking hall was completely wedged - huge queues at the ticket office stretching back to the escalators with tannoy announcements being mad not to block the entrance to the station or it would have to be closed.

I've never seen anything like this before - no idea what was going on although many of the passengers did have large suitcases.

I have to say, I'm not sure it was the Southern service, as this was terminated short at Tring in the end. Others were through in front of it and got delayed later. If it was a northbound that was initially involved, I wonder if it was 2N99 1754 Euston to Northampton

A suspected trespass incident occurred, later declared as a person struck by a train.

The headcode does not sound familiar, one second I shall find the one that was involved...

Believe it was 2O63. Cannot find the other details; although there are not many more I would share. It sounded like a nasty incident for the crew involved and I hope they can return to service soon.

Southern's Twitter was saying it was one of their services.

I was on the 18:10 Birmingham New Street to Euston and we were halted at Rugby for 1:10, we had quite a few Chelsea fans on board returning from the game at Villa. I was in the quiet coach H in first class and all was quiet.

However we were still at a standstill when the trains were back on the move and I was worried our crew were out of hours. However we eventually got going and the train manager apologised for a lack of updates as she was attending an indecent on the platform.

When we arrived at Euston the doors were kept locked whist BTP attended. Once the doors were unlocked we were greeted by a further 10 to 20 BTP on the ramp, one with a camera filming us.
