Had telephone interview today. Should receive email either way with in a week. I am 50/50 of outcome. Here's hoping!!

Received my email today Unsuccessful. They would like me to apply again but cant for six months. Counting down the weeks!!

I never had a telephone interview and I don't feel it is necessary... I was lucky as I got in with FGW as Conductor just before these telephone interviews started

If First don't win ScotRail the next company may not require it anyway

You have to wait 6 months for assessments, I am not sure a telephone interview would count??

I had the telephone interview with FCC and I think its their way of wittering down the applicants, its like the online questions, if they feel you haven't got the right skillset to begin with, then there is no point in taking it further, but a telephone interview is not as good in my opinion as a face to face interview, you cannot see who your are talking to, and its not as personal

As stated its a personal thing. Didn't feel like a number hard work was rewarded and any issues were dealt with properly no blame games or in direct answers.
