On Hold - Northern Conductors

Hello,

Before Xmas i passed my Interview and Assesments for the Northern Rail Trainee Conductor Positions at Manchester Depots, Ive been placed on hold.

I was just wondering if anyone else was currently on hold with northern and how long they have been on hold for?

I found out today I have passed the assessment for conductor at Wigan. The email states that the application is on hold but they will be in touch soon. I expected this and suspect its a formality whilst they liase with the TCMs etc to make furthet decisions.

Piccadilly will be over compliment by Feb so maybe its only Victoria that needs topping up. I hope things get moving for you soon

Been a sudden shift of guards to driving at Vic of late but there's a few passing out now and more in school as we speak filling up link spaces.

Is Victoria a big depot?

What routes are in the bottom link at Victoria?

I was on hold for three months after passing conductor assessment in June 2013.

Course was cancelled and am still in talent pool but have a second interview for same position at Skipton with operations manager in Leeds on Thursday.

Skipton is only a small station, thats probably why I didn't get on quickly and Manchester maybe different.

Does anyone know what an operations manager does and would it be a good idea to ask to be considered for Leeds vacancies as well as Skipton?

Don't want to sound desperate in my interview or harm my chances at Skipton.

When i had my assement the HR staff told us to email them if we wanted to increase the number of depots we would consider. I originally applied For Victoria, but im now on hold for both Manchester Depots.

Passed my interview, info pack on it's way.

Just medical to do and wait for a course/position to become available.

Anyone know when the next conductor course is at Leeds after the 20th January one?
