I wasn't sure where to post this - so feel free to move it if need be!
...to catch the cable thieves!
I have just started to watch the news and my local presenter on BBC TV (in the headline bit at the start) said this:
"on board the special night train to catch cable thieves" with a clip of a BTP officer on-board a train along the GEML at night.
Has any one got any details on this?
I am looking for a online report... so, if you're interested and have got SKY or similar (or live in the Look East area) then tune into 'BBC1 East' at 1830 today!
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
I have just recorded the report - but the file size is to large to upload - anyone know how to make a 13mb zip into a 2mb zip?
The train used looked like a Cl170, but interior looked more like Cl357 so it may be was a Cl357 - taking into account Cl170's & Cl357's are near enough identical externally!
I am confused as the Cl357 operate along the C2C lines but Witham is along the NXEA lines, so it would make more sense to use a Cl360 or Cl321!
