. . .I'm on an LNWR stopping EMU from Birmingham New Street to London Euston, and about half a mile out of New Street the music I was listening to (I always use earfones!) stopped with the circle going round & I can't get it to play on either WiFi or my data connection!

. . . However Sarah Cox's "All Request Friday!" did work tho'!

The "lousy TOCs" have configured their WiFi so that data intensive uses such as streaming are blocked, so that the limited bandwidth can be shared fairly across all users. This isn't new.

I can't get it to play on either WiFi or my data connection!
If you can't get a good data connection then the WiFi (which runs on mobile data) could struggle too.
