Hi, just seeking some help with the cost of travel to the paralympics on Weds this week - and wanted to get the best price
I am travelling from Luton to the Olympic Park, I have the included travelcard which would appear to be valid from Zone 6 (Elstree and Borehamwood appearing to be as far as it covers on my line)
I have looked at the nationalrailgamestravel site and its mixing desk has suggested the following for 3 adults (there are 2 children below 2 years so I did not include them in the search, although interestingly they both have travelcards)
Weds 5th leave 08:00 Luton return Weds eveing uncertain of time (prob 18:00 - 19:00)
£15.60 each way for all three passengers (£31.20 in total to return)
I noticed on the summary page it says the following about discounts
Standard Class: Child discounts, 16-25, Family & Friends, Senior, HM Forces and Disabled Persons Railcard discounts apply.
If I add a Network Railcard on the games travel mixing desk it does apply the discount giving me
£10.35 each way for all passengers (£20.70 intotal)
Is this the cheapest ticket ( i think with it being a peak time it is probably better than a boundary ticket but I couldnlt find a price for one of those)
Is the network railcard discount valid?

I've long been reading these forums but have only just felt a need to ask for help. I've found some of the posts about loopholes and gaurds questioning valid tickets quite interesting; it's been an education.
It's a shame one cant buy the games travel tickets from RSH, i could have used up my Olympic Prediction bonus!
