Plans starting to emerge for the new travel hub at OOC. HS2 is to be an underground 6 platform station and the surface station will be an 8 platform interchange with GWML, HEX Services and West London line as well as Crossrail.

The HS2 Box will be the launch site for both North and South TBM's.

From New Civil Engineer:

Transport for London (TfL) has revealed plans to build two new London Overground stations at Old Oak Common following a nine-week consultation.

Eighty five per cent of respondents to the consultation backed plans for the stations – one at Old Oak Common Land and the other on Hythe Road. They will provide access to Crossrail and High Speed 2 by linking them to the Clapham Junction to Stratford and Richmond to Stratford lines.

TfL said the stations would also improve rail links across the Old Oak and Park Royal Development site, which could see the creation of 24,000 homes and 55,000 jobs.

“This public consultation has demonstrated there is strong public support for new local rail links at Old Oak to allow Overground services to support the planned new High Speed 2 and Crossrail stations due to open in 2026,” said TfL managing director of planning Richard de Cani.
