I have applied for the position of 'Yard Team Member' at Old Oak Common FGW HST Depot. I have an idea about the job and what is involved from the job spec with the vacancy advert, but I wondered if there is anyone on here who could give me anymore first hand information.
I'm interested in things about the job, and also things about the depot. I will saturate myself with information that is available open source through Google etc, but any further ideas of things I should research etc would be great. I admit to putting all my eggs in one basket for the DRS Trainman job and neglected to put as much research into this position so am playing catch up.
I've done a forum search and found a similar thread to this but with no replies. It was a few years ago so I'm being hopeful there could be some fresh members with new info.
So does anyone work at OOC, or does a Yard Team Members job for FGW at a different depot, or a Depot Drivers job etc??
Lastly, anyone know where I could find out the rough salary? First don't seem to publish it with their vacancies.
