Old HD wheel flanges and peco track

Hi..I wonder if anybody can help..I have some old HD 3 rail locos and want to change to two rail track...would the old wheel flanges fit...peco straight track ok and the points..or do i have to buy old HD 2 rail points....i realise have to change too old two rail loco chassis ....

Strictly speaking the flanges on Hornby 'Dublo' rolling stock were finer than on the contemporary Tri-ang models. They may work through Peco's code 100 track but I'd definitely not consider using code 75, you may have to rewheel some of it anyway as a lot of the old Hornby 'Dublo' 3 rail range had metal wheelsets on metal axles that were not isolated so you would short out your layout if attempted to use those items in an unmodified form.

2-rail and 3-rail Dublo runs perfectly on Peco Code 100. Done both - the latter with an added power rail

Thanks guys..the peco 100 i have tried the straight track and the clearance over the top of the chairs is ok.....but what about peco points...i will be using surriagate 2 rail chassis on the old 3 rail bodies......Mike

Also works fine. HD2R is finer-scale than 1980s Lima !. Code 100 points are no problem but Code 75 is right out
