Old BR posters at Richmond Station

While departing a Reading bound SWT service at Richmond on Saturday afternoon, I couldn't help but notice the 70s and 80s BR promotional posters on the stairwell going up from the platform.

Unearthed in late 2011. It's great they chose to keep them as a little heritage piece instead of turning them into more advertising hoardings.

The InterCity Sleeper one is my favourite. Change the colours around and it could easily be from the golden age of steam... :D

When I was at London Bridge a couple of months ago I saw an earlier 90s poster that had been uncovered a platform 2 for a VW dealership in Plaistow. It mentions catalytic converters...

The phone number on the ad is using the 01 code which was taken out of use in May 1990. Meanwhile I found this double ad for Toblerone/The Times from 1990/1991 which was temporarily uncovered at Clapham Junction earlier this month:
