I disagree with the comment it's invalid after the first stop after 0429. A point to point ticket is also valid to any station on route through stopping early, starting late, or break of journey. It doesn't become invalid at the first stop after 0429 on the possibility of starting late.

Because I realised nobody had got an answer from the horses mouth, I engaged with GWR on twitter.

Thanks for asking them, always good to get as much as possible in black and white. However it's the Monday only sleeper we're looking into, as it departs Exeter later at 0435. (after the magic cutoff time by 6 mins)

But I see your point, it is still valid right thru to the buffer stops.

Monday would be fine on this basis with a Tiverton or Axminster split.

But not valid for a change at Plymouth as that XC train departs at a barred time.

Well that went well, didn't even get queried about validity in the end. Off back down on tonight's 1C99 now to finish the last 3 days of the rover off. Which there should be no question of now, since it leaves exd at 0411 in the week. ;)
