Off-peak Travelcards from Cambridge

From Cambridge to London you can get Off-peak and Super Off-peak Travelcards. I understand the latter are Saturdays or weekends only.

Anyway, is a break of journey permitted at Potters Bar on either? I ask, as there are some TfL red buses to Potters Bar (most notably the 298 and 313) that I wish to ride on a day out from Cambridge, or on the way home from there.
