Hello all, sorry if this has been mentioned before but I think this is the 1st thread covering all of it. What is happening with the following off-lease stock?

All 8 Class 460s

The 5 East Coast 180s (3 Northern, 2 Stored)

All 5 Class 322s

The WSMR 67s & mk3 sets

And any random off-lease 313s/321s/508s

Thanks in adavnce :)

Think there's just the one 313 off-lease now (313121?) that's earmarked for Network Rail signalling testing.

All 322's are leased to NXEA, it's just the sublease to Scotrail that's coming to an end.

There are no 'random offlease' 321s, as far as I am aware. The few of the 37 units that were originally unaccounted for (after the ex LM carve up) went to FCC eventually.

Are the ex-LO 508s going anywhere?

Well, Theres a slight chance of Merseyrail having them if you read what has been mentioned recentley but considering they rejected them previously, you find it hard to believe they will take these units on.

The WSMR 67s & mk3 sets

Chiltern Railways are currently using one ex-WSMR loco and rake on the Birmingham to London Marylebone peak loco hauled trip, as well as the Chiltern liveried DVT 82302, previously in use with Wrexham and Sropshire, on the Banbury-Marylebone commuter rake.

There are reports that Chiltern are going to be introducing extra loco hauled services soon using a second ex-WSMR loco and carriage rake, there's definitely driver training currently taking place.

Unless something has changed since I last heard, the 460s are waiting until the work is done for SWTs 10 car services, at which point they should be mixed up with SWTs 458s to produce 5 car sets, with some 460s also reduced to 5 cars, and anything spair scrapped (likely all the baggage cars at least).

I heard something along those lines, but the one thing that confuses me with this is that the 460s are air conditioned but the 458s aren't. Will the aircon be reomoved fromt he 460 vehicles or added to the 458 vehicles or will the sets simply run with some vehicles aircon and some vehicles non aircon. The 460s don't have openable windows so I can't imagine them running in the 458s with the aircon isolated, especially in the summer.

None of these are confirmed yet, just proposals AFAIK...
