Odd train at Piccadilly

I have just seen a train containing two multiple unit sets interspersed with loaded container flats passing through Manchester Piccadilly southeastbound.

The MUs were in grey livery and had end corridor connections, but I was not able to identify the type. Presumably there was a loco at the front but I was not in time to see it.

Does anyone know any more ?

Presumably 2 x 350/4s being delivered to the Siemens depot in Ardwick from Munich.

In Germany I've seen freight containing new cars, logs and stone all in the same consignment.

Trafford Park-Ardwick TMD? How are they getting to Trafford Park in the first place out of interest, I'm guessing not up the Ship Canal
