Well, the presence of snow made my journey to Purley more interesting, but saw two extraordinary things you may be able to solve.
Just approaching Baldock northbound, when a 313 passed me heading south, it seemed in service and I then saw many passengers filing along the platform indicating it had just stopped, could this unit have run the whole way down from Cambridge? Snow hasn't really affected services up here much. I guess it could just be an odd shunt to the Letchworth sidings?
Then, even more odd, less than 30 seconds later a Blue loco (67 I think) Went past with two pale blue intercity carriages (Methinks Mark3 NXEA still in one colours).

So yeah, anyone have any idea?

Cheers :)

No 67's are in pale blue livery. only oddities are royal locos, WSMR local (which would have been light grey), 67018 and 67029

only 60074 in teenage spirit sky blue livery is all I can think of.

I know 313s are only cleared as far as Biggleswade on the ECML but not sure on the branch line to Cambridge, I may be wrong but I think the furthest they are cleared is Royston, I know they're cleared to Baldock which they need to be in order to access the yard at Letchworth from the north.
