A few minutes ago a northern 158 sped over Todmorden viaduct in the Manchester direction. What was it doing?

Looks like the late running 14:07 Leeds-Manchester Victoria, which was delayed by a train fault. Shown as running non stop from Halifax-Victoria

Interesting - do you know what the running-time for Halifax-Manchester non-stop was?

47 minutes, the same time it booked for, it caught up 2U18 just after Rochdale. If it hadn't possible 40-42 mintues.

Thank you - as far as I know, Halifax-Manchester non-stop has never been regularly scheduled.
The nearest I can remember was back in the 1960s, SX, when the 1643 dmu from Halifax was first stop Rochdale, achieving that distance in 29 minutes, so 40-42 minutes seems about right.
