Bonsoir!

On Saturday night, I'm travelling to Birmingham Intl to catch a flight. I have a Traveller ticket (same restrictions as Advance) on the 2142 from Warrington BQ to Birmingham NS (arriving 2300).
I now want to travel from Liverpool South Parkway to Wrexham, before connecting with the above service.

Recap, I'm after a ticket(s) to get me from Liverpool SP to Wrexham General, and then onto Warrington.

I have a railcard

Your help is invaluable! :)

I would imagine that it's cheaper to buy SDR LPY-WRX at £5.60
TRAVEL LPY-LIV-CTR-WRX.

THEN ON WAY BACK TRAVEL WRX-CTR-WARRINGTON (and break/end journey short).

I wasn't aware that was valid.
Yes.

Liverpool South Parkway is a member of Hunts Cross Group.
Wrexham General is a member of Wrexham Group.

Hunts Cross Group - Wrexham Group is permitted by maps CG, CL or ML.
ML allows Hunts Cross Group - Liverpool Group - Shotton - Wrexham Group, or Hunts Cross Group - Liverpool Group - Hooton - Chester - Wrexham Group.
CL allows Wrexham Group - Chester - Runcorn Group - Warrington Group - Hunts Cross Group.

Map CG would also allow Wrexham - Chester - Crewe - Warrington - Liverpool S Parkway. As the only ticket is an SDR, this would (theoretically at least) allow a free upgrade to first class on Virgin. (as you wouldn't want to go standard any more!). Or I guess it's quicker to join the service at Crewe instead of Warrington.
