Obstruction between Godstone and Edenbridge

I noticed earlier that National Rail Enquiries and Southern were stating that services on the Redhill-Tonbridge line were disrupted due to an "obstruction" on the line. Buses replaced trains for a bit, and there are still residual delays (officially they finished at midday).

Can anyone shed any light on this? I live locally and am interested in what may have happened, if details are available. It just seemed a bit vague as service updates go. If there's no information, don't worry too much.
