I have never read such utter tripe in all my life. The Telegraph blog seems to be based around Radio 4 said something nasty about the conservatives, and some students can't name a 19th Century PM - the left must be brainwashing them!
The Labourwatch link just seems to be plain racist - complaining about making a Muslim the Head of Religion at the BBC. Utter, utter tripe.

I really don't believe any newspaper can comment at all on impartiality or bias!! They all are one way or another biased, much more so than the BBC is.
This ARTICLE, is rediculous. It actively suggests that the airline in question had broken safety rules, which was confirmed to be completely untrue by the aviation authorities. The wording of the article is constantly extreme and misleading.
I think this thread is a hint that not all that many people are that interested in the Obama visit. Much less so than the Queen's visit to Ireland, which was a historic moment. Although, I could be wrong.

Impartial does not mean not allowed to report opinions. It means overall balanced.
You base what you say on seeing things you don't agree with in BBC articles. Trust me, coming from someone more liberally minded, I see plenty of trash too. It's all part of the wider picture on lack of overall bias.

No, impartial means that have to treat all parties equally. It does not mean that are not allowed to report opinions, or report opinions as fact.

That doesn't take away the fact that it is still respected worldwide for its quality coverage. If anything, the Conservatives seem to get mentioned more these days, since they are in power with the Lib Dems.

There are far, far more sites tearing apart the Daily Mail's "journalism" than the BBC's. Which also tells you something.

Hopefully sausages were on the menu! If there was a clip of Obama eating bangers and mash it would dispel the rumours extremist Republicans (and those of evangelical nutters like Pat Robertson) that he's a closet muslim!
Of course, we all know he's a Christian: after all, he doubled troop numbers in Afghanistan, increased the number of (illegal) drone strikes on Pakistani soil, and has taken a very hawkish line in the 'war on terror'.
