NXEA Trainee Conductors

Hi all,

I am new to this forum. I just wanted to know if anyone else has recently applied for a Trainee Conductor position with NXEA. If so has anyone heard anything back from them yet? All answers are appreciated, thanks.

I applied, and have heard nothing at all I'm afraid.

yeah i went dwn for my assessment on the 10th this month passed all the tests persant etc and was told i wud hear bk on the 15 and still havent heard

I also have heard nothing.Although i am surprised that somebody has already had an assessment on 10th as i thought the closing date was not till 11th !

i applied back in september and then had my assesment day at solar house on the 10-01-2011 but now im waiting to find out whats happend lol and i applied through NXEA so it may be different if your aplying with a different TOC

I think you applied for a different intake of the same job; perhaps they didn't find enough suitable candidates in the initial intake, but we've all gone for NXEA AFAIK.

Lol, Joanne is quite helpful tbh, She prob only knows things on a daily base.

Jo is really only the assessment administrator. She will take instructions for the Business Conductor Manager.

Jo has really been busy with West Anglia driver recruitment lately, which will take precident, especially as they can use drivers for guards duties.

Often, candidates are put on hold until other vacancies arise, so it may be good news not receiving a letter!!

I spoke to a Senior Conductor with NXEA today, (who apparently also does alot of the on the job training & assessing). Apparently there are a load of conductors applications on Jo's desk to be looked at this week.
