The 7.05 from Stowmarket is formed of 3 x class 360's.

Unfortunately, it is late most days by the time it passes shenfield as we usually have to sit outside shenfield waiting for it, and the Norwich train behind it to pass us. (I'm usually on the 8.03 from WIC to LST)

1A95 departed Harwich International 1 late. 1A95 7 late from Witham due to being held
for 1P09 11 late through Witham (non stop Witham to Liv St) due to 3P17 power defect
and 1P11 7 late (non stop Manningtree to Liv St) due to DVT door defect. 1A95 arrived
Liv St 10 late. It lost further time following 1F19 which was delayed following 1P09 &
1P11. All the delays caused to to 1A95 this morning were causing by other late running
faster services.

Just another typical morning on the GEML then!

More infrastructure issues at Chelmsford and Stratford today. I hope it has all settled down by this evening's journey home.

Does anyone know why the late-night Metros have been recast?
They were 22:35, 22:50 and 23:05 but are now 22:35, 22:55 and 23:15, which is a bit of a pain if you miss the :55 by a minute or so...

All to do with the two track railway Maryland - Shenfield after 2200 due to extra access for the OHL project which is miles and miles behind schedule.

Surely the new evening Metro service pattern of every 20 minutes in the evenings make more sense rather than 30/15/15 mins pattern per hour? :)
