This unit has finally turned a wheel in revenue earning service after a couple of years out of service. It was out this morning coupled to 439 on 1J05 0648 from Southminster.

Although this service was only 8 cars rather than 12 today due to a train fault. (According to my daily email from NXEA).

How do u get daily emails from NXEA concering fleet movements, is it soemthing you can sign up to? (Sorry for prying :P)

It was 8 instead of 12 because there was no guard for it (so I understand).

I've been flicking around on the map and I've not found it out on a peak working yet- it's probably around somewhere but I've not found it.

317511 and 514 will be off the iron road for a while longer yet. 511 is rumoured to be going to Derby to be rewired, and I was told 511 was repaired at the expense of 514- how true that is I don't know.

I also have no news of 321425 or 315850 as to when they'll be back in service.

No trouble at all. NXEA sending out emails at about 6am and 3pm warning of any expected issues or short formations. (To those signed up to their email service). This was the one from this morning;

We intend to run a full service this morning

The following train will be altered due to a train fault:

06:48 Southminster to London Liverpool Street will be 8 coaches instead of 12 coaches.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause to your journey.

A good service is currently operating on all routes to London.

No, unit numbers are not specified as the majority of commuters couldn't really care less. It's just a train to them. If you really want to know any unit numbers, ask and I'm sure someone on here (including myself) will be able to find it out for you.
