nvq level 2 rail services (driving)

Hi everyone, I am a qualified driver and have already discussed and applied to be put forward for the above mentioned nvq, something which is indicated to pit me in better stead to apply for a competence manager job down the line should I wish to.

I would like to know if anyone here has done the nvq and what your thoughts are. Also how long it took and what criteria you demonstrated.

Its easy as hell. They give you a book to full out. We went through it in the class and in all honesty you could fill it out there and then.

I see why they have implemented the NVQ's but they feel more like tick box exercise than anything else. Good to have on the CV and may hold you in a good light should you wish to change companies at any point or go up the ladder.
