Nuneaton station

I am going to Nuneaton for around three hours between 11am and 2pm.

Which platforms will be best for spotting and photos?

My wife will be coming to go to the shops? How easy is it to reach the shopping centre?

Town Centre a 10 minute walk & Asda is very close on the opposite side. Not sure the best platform for photos. Pendos constantly hossing through & plenty of freight although sometimes this can be all or nothing which is a bit annoying.

I used to live at nuneaton in the 90s, they had the best collectors record store there, and I could hop the IC/Virgin hst right back to Holyhead when I was done.
It doesn't take long to walk down to the shopping areas.
