Anyone know more about the "operating incident" closing the line between Nuneaton and Coleshill and how long its likely to last?

From Brushtwo » WNXX:

No trains since start of service between Birmingham and at least Nuneaton following a collision between two tampers in the Arley area, much earlier this Morning, six injuries unfortunately.

6J32 Stoneblower and 6J99 collided apparently. Axle has come off the Stoneblower and 6 hurt as previously posted.

Has the mainline been closed as a result?

Does this mean there will be no coal traffic on the Sutton Park or Chase Lines today?

I was caught up in this, threw my plans out of the window but the divert was amazing :D Got quite a bit of otherwise freight only lines and quite a few miles too, now for AXC to consider some compensation for the delay and inconvenience caused ;)

With NRES suggesting passengers for Birmingham-Nuneaton to change at Tamworth I wonder what would happen if one held a Birmingham - Tamworth ticket who wished to go to Nuneaton? (permitted by easement 300335)

edit: That title is really bugging me now <(

Yes, its Nuneaton, not Nueeaton <(

Or in Hornby's case, Nune aton. Seems either someone in Margate can't type Nuneaton properley, or the Chinese have invented a new place for London Midland 153s to run too.
