NSE red stripe colour match

Not sure where this resides and if not appropriate please delete but I am looking for a spray can to colour match the NSE red stripe. Railmatch used to do it but only in tins and precision paint also only supplied as tins but I need spray option without having to go out and buy an airbrush. Does anyone know of the nearest colour match that could be obtained through car paint perhaps ? Seems to be dozens of red shades at Halfords but its always very difficult to match from the plastic lids.

Great thanks for that. Dont suppose the white is a specific pantone colour as its definitely not standard white. Is the blue the dark shade used on the revised livery or the paler one on the first version.

Not certain. I found the information on the Internet. I'm certain which shade of blue the information referred to.

Pantone 300 was the original NSE blue. I believe the revised one was Pantone 280 but I could well be wrong there.

That’s really useful. A quick search of the colour BS4800 04-E-53 brings it up as Carnival Red.

There’s a supplier of aerosols here if that’s correct?

We used to paint SR stock in the Paint Shop at Selhurst and all our NSE paint came from T and R Williamson, they will know without doubt, the RAL or BS whatever colour.
