I'm meeting the other half in Lincoln on Monday and i'm working out the cheapest way to go with my TOC/First Group passes. I went to search from Kings Cross but didn't change the time i'd be getting there - so i'm searching from six. This is a genuine plan.

In what world is that of any use to anyone ever?

EDIT: I had the planner to use FCC still on when searching from my home station.

Yes, i've got a pass for HT but I need to be there earlier than the reasonable first train, so it's East Coast.

There was a screenshot but I realized i was being a muppet.

The planner said to go from Kings Cross to Victoria on the tube, then to blackfriers on the tube, then to St Pan FCC, then to Loughborough, then direct (i think) to Lincoln.

I had put on FCC/St Pan on the journey planner. And forgotten to take them off when i was searching just from London.
