I was booked on the 10:02 from Scarborough to Beverley which was cancelled due to a fatality in the Cottingham area.

I’m now on the 11:02, which I can assure was still in the platform at Scarborough at 11:12 and finally departed about 11:15.

Trying to find out what time I will arrive at Beverley and if it’s worth it as I have a ticket back on the 13:35 (also whether that’s running), but at the time of starting this thread all of the above resources were showing incorrect information.

Is this due to the nature of the delay reason? if so they really should put a proviso on their data, people trust and rely on it.

Doesn’t explain why the wonderful new(ish) National Rail Enquiries page was also showing that the 11:02 departed at 11:03, when it hadn’t even arrived then.

On the TPE train that ran before yours, the reporting data is TRUST (SDR), I beleive this means it is reported manually by the signaller, who probaly has more important things do deal with right now.
After leaving the area it then moves to GPS reporting, maybe the GPS on your train isn't working or reporting correctly
It will probably report once the signaller puts it in at Brindlington (edit: I can see this has now been done).

the 11.02 from Scarborough has just reported at Bridlington: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:Y02210/2025-12-03/detailed

So it's most likely due to issues with the data feed from NR to RTT/OTT/NRE for that area. The signaller(s) for the area should be manually inputting times but given the cancellations and disruption they are probably being passed messages by control about what services are running and which aren't as well. In that case the Data hasn't got anything to feed, and so systems will either show a blank or make a 'best guess'.

The 11.02 from Scarborough is now projected to arrive at Beverley at 1216.

The 1335 appears to have been cancelled between Sheffield and Doncaster but should be running from Doncaster to Scarborough. Always possible further delays happen though. https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:Y02067/2025-12-03/detailed

Thanks again. Just have to take my chance then. Hmm now what can I do with an hour and a quarter in Beverley? (I’ve done the Minster several times!).

What appears to have happened is that the signaller entered the arrival time of the inbound working as the departure time of the outbound working. A small mix up.

On my web site you can see the raw-ish data from TRUST including the time it was entered into the system. As people above have said, the signaller at Scarborough didn't enter the times until well after the train had gone.

Go to the train and then press Display schedule in old format.
