Didn't know Allerton had a lower rate while training normally you start on full salary in this role.
Strange how you only have to be able to walk a mile and a quarter to pass the medical yet in depot driver roles you walk through ballast for several times that distance in a night

Railway experience is not in the laid down job requirements, as full training is provided, however as your likely to be competing against people with railway experience, it makes it more difficult to get it without it.
Be aware that this role is permenant nights.
