NR live departure boards

What is the point of the live departure boards web site? Where does it get it's info from?
I am currently sat at Machynlleth on the 09:30 Aberyswth to Birmingham, leaving leaving at 10:43 but the live departure board says we left at 10:24 and train last reported as at between Carews and Newtown

I've just checked it now, it shows train as leaving MCN 10.41.

Information comes from variety of sources; Trust, station CIS feeds, Darwin and TSDB (times of trains that haven't yet started). This varies depending on routes, trains and availability of information. In this case the 10.41 departure comes from Trust.

Possibly a signaler has put the wrong head code on something maybe?
