Brilliant stuff, Bob Pollard is a genius.
Glad Girls, the hook that goes 'that passes though me now in the light that passes through me' sends shivers through me every time.

Deffo, Isolation Drills is an album that could be classed as a classic rock album but not a classic GBV album, but that's quite wrong in my books :)

Hmmm, I dare say GBV purists would shun that stuff for the scratchy lo-fi banging a shoe box with a ruler stuff but I'm a pussy and can't resist anthems like Everywhere with Helicopter, Game of Pricks and Surgical Focus. Gold Star for Robot Boy, now that's as lo-fi as I go, the tune is so good any attempt at hiding it is futile. That and Echos Myron.

Never heard of them before (I don't read music magazines), but quite liked it. I don't think they will ever have the status of Zeppelin, Stones or Deep Purple, etc., but definitely worth hearing.

I don't suppose they get played much on UK "mainstream" radio........ such places seem more interested in either endlessly replaying the latest clones of 1 direction, Spice Girls, Britney, etc., or stuff chosen by some self-appointed "experts" who dictate what people ought to accept as "currently fashionable" .

Sparks is the best song off that album IMO, but your picks are OK too. Yellow's a good song.
