The awkward moment when your drummer is a better singer than your vocalist:

May I ask the more younger members on this thread if I have misheard the lyrics to a song that was popular a long time ago. It sounded like...."Wont you take me to Monkey Town"

Is this song being used to help to publicise the new film about the subject matter that was in a series of films many years ago about the Planet of the Apes ?

Well, that is a relief. It's amazing what some words sound like when they are sung. I've just downloaded the lyrics.....must have taken all of two minutes to write....never seen so much phrase duplication before. Maybe it was written in "Monkey Town"....:D:D

Misheard lyrics are a goldmine :) For ages I though Sham 69 were singing about "Harry the Furry Camel" going down the pub!

Anyway NP from a Spotify mix is Ultraviolence - Hardcore Mother****** - some old Techno that a couple of the local Industrial DJs used to play a lot

You can look the link up yourselves :) I'm not getting warned/banned for posting it ;)

Not out of choice, I can assure you.

Well done DWP for ruining Vivaldi's "Spring" for me forever!

I managed 18 seconds. I hope you don't have to listen to it very often.
I hope so too. Around 20 - 25 minutes on hold I wager I was listening to that thing.

Got out my keyboard after that, although I haven't played "Spring" for years, I was still able to make it sound nicer than that shi... ning example of poor hold music.
