Nottingham to Exeter Central.

Afternoon all.

I'm catching the 19:40 from Nottingham to Exeter Central this evening.

Arriving into New Street at 20:55.
On wards to Bristol Temple Meads on the 21:12 Service.
Then from Bristol Temple Meads to St Davids on the 23:06 Service.

I'm quite concerned i will be delayed from Nottingham to New Street, and may miss my connection can anybody please advise on the platforms so i can make a dash.

What sort of ticket do you have? If it's not an Advance, i.e. not tied to a specific train, then you could change at Derby instead and save a lot of hassle, even catching the slightly earlier 19.20 from Nottingham to ensure your connection.

I see you made it, but if you had missed it you would have been entitled to 100% Delay Repay compensation and a taxi from Bristol to Exeter.
