Super off-peak singles via Grantham have restriction code 1L. The human-readable version of this restriction says "Restrictions will be lifted for trains departing from and arriving at London Kings Cross and Stevenage on a Friday until further notice" and nothing about Nottingham or Grantham.
So I think this ticket should be valid in the morning peak on Fridays.

But the unpublished restrictions data says "Not valid to depart NOTTINGHAM 0230–0859 on any TOC" every day, and therefore no journey planner will sell me this ticket for a morning peak itinerary.
If I buy the ticket anyway and use it on a different itinerary will I be fine? Or have I missed something?

If it's not valid, I can just split at Bingham (or Grantham if my NOT-GRA train doesn't stop at Bingham) with a non-super-off-peak single for the very first leg, right? But Trainsplit won't offer me this split, even though it thinks the super off-peak ticket is valid for a journey from Bingham, and it doesn't think it's valid (non-split) from Nottingham.

The train you catch from Nottingham to Grantham must comply with the restrictions set out in the restriction code's text. As none of them go to/through any of the stations listed, there are no time restrictions when departing Nottingham in that direction.
