Don't quote me on this, but I suspect that Centrebus 833 is supposed to be an integrated connection from NCT 12 as this was supposed to be the case when the 11 went out there in the not too distant past.

That’s the correct answer - through tickets are available between the two, and connections are shown on each others timetables.

Centrebus include a link to the 12 timetable at the top of their 833 page.

Going a little further out, the maps in Beeston interchange still include the YourBus Y5, which finished when they went bust in October 2019.

Still out of the city boundary (it won't be soon but that's a different story), there are certain bus shelters in Stapleford which have maps that still include NCTs pathfinder 100 and trentbartons "connection" routes.

There are slated to be changes to the 49 sometime in autumn, not sure if they have a confirmed date yet.

I was in the city centre yesterday, around 10:30 & surprised to see an 11 using a Pathfinder 90! Around the same time a 90 goes past using an unbranded dekka. Quite a lot travelling too.
Same situation around 9pm!
I honestly can’t remember when I last saw the wrong bus on the wrong route :-/

Maybe I should’ve explained a bit more!
Literally within a few minutes of arriving in Nottingham, I was so surprised to see the 11 sporting Pathfinder 90 branding, only for the actual 90 to turn up right after using a spare double-decker.
After that, I took the Pronto over to Mansfield on a generic Stagecoach double-decker. Of course, as soon as I get to Mansfield, I spot a Pronto-branded bus heading off to Meden Vale!
My point is that NCT is honestly excellent at keeping branded buses on the right routes. Seriously, Nottingham is the only place where you can be 100% confident that buses will actually match their corridors.
These days I travel around East Sussex a lot, and frankly, Brighton & Hove are shocking when it comes to inconsistent allocations (minus the Coasters, obviously). As for Stagecoach in East Sussex, it feels like a total managed decline. They are relinquishing routes due to poor performance, only for the new operator to step in and elevate one of them to a 24-hour operation! The route branding is an absolute farce.
What prompted my original comment was just how reliable and impressive the branding is in Nottingham. Just a few days before, I was in Hastings and boarded the 322 to Ore on a bus branded for the "Wave". Later on, I went to catch the 101 to Rye, and instead of a Wave bus turning up, it was one branded for a route in Exeter! Then that evening, I was heading home from Ashford and spotted a Hastings Arrow—the exact bus that should've been miles away running the 322 in Hastings, but was serving the Ashford area instead! To top it off, yesterday on the 11:56 from Rye to Ore, instead of a Wave 101, my bus was branded as the 1066 to who knows where... Tunbridge Wells?
Between NCT and TrentBarton, it’s just wonderful to return to Nottingham. I’m so excited for my visit tomorrow!

Interesting that the NCT logos displayed on the Hoppers are the new version (same as on 500) while repaints of 276, 277 etc are still using the existing logo. Plus I'm surprised 501 wasn't chosen considering it was already stripped of its branding/logos.

That doesn’t massively surprise me - NCT prefer to have less than the PVR branded up, and even with all these spare branded E10s you’ll still see route branded ones on the wrong routes some days

We're stepping in and replacing the CT4N Service 18 from Monday 17th August.

Spent a few days in Nottingham to explore the city and around it. Have to say I'm very impressed with NCT, very frequent services on modern buses. Colours for each corridor made it very easy for someone like me who is completely unfamiliar with Nottingham and all the buses I saw were on the correct routes. Was really great to be somewhere where I can walk to a bus stop, a bus turns up in moments, quickly gets to another part of the city, I change and within minutes can go further up the road on another. Found the 25 very useful for Arnold from Carlton Hill, avoiding the need to go back to the centre first. Impressed by the speed of the services too. Loved how easy it was to get a network map and a timetable as there's a travel shop, something that just doesn't exist anywhere in London or Herts/ Essex. Very decent late evening/ night time service too which I'm jealous of. If an area is urban, buses should be readily available at 8/ 9/ 10/ 11pm, minimum every half hour by default. Also impressed by the punctuality of the 90 to Newark, which got a lot busier than I expected. Saw a full bus going to Nottingham on route (around Midday, so not rush hour), suggesting single deckers is not enough if that's a regular occurrence!

I only really have 2 complaints on NCT, the next stop announcement says the stop too quietly and finding buses on Upper Parliament Street and surrounding streets was really difficult. There should be information at city centre stops saying where to get all buses from with a map to make wayfinding easier. Got confused with the 1 and Rainbow 1 and initially waited at the wrong stop! Would've just walked to Victoria had I knew it would be that confusing.

Also found because the standards were so high, seemed to push up standards on the private operators, especially Trent Barton. Again very modern and frequent all day. And I thought their services complimented the city ones really well. Only problems I had with Trent Barton were the window in the ceiling of the bus made it feel very hot inside and my disabled bus pass for some reason wouldn't scan but the staff were fine about it.

I can see why the East Midlands Mayor doesn't want to touch the buses if they already work so well in her region. Many parts of the country aren't so lucky.

Most similar is orange so could renumber as 33 or 37. but it will probs just be a grey route using spares until they are properly settled in

The 18A was subsidised iirc and provides a link between Wollaton and Beeston
