Nottingham-Bournemouth 16-25 Railcard

Spent a morning messing around with splits from Nottingham all the way to Bournemouth and I've only got as far as £52.10

Plan is to go on this Friday after 3pm and come back anytime on Sunday with a 16-25 railcard.

I went for Nottingham- Leamington Spa off-peak return £16.50
Leamington Spa- Oxford off peak return £12.50
Oxford -Basingstoke advance singles £9.80
Basingstoke-Bournemouth advance singles £13.30

I'm stumped of anyway to get it cheaper if anyway can help!

Depending on when you're travelling you might be able to beat that with Megatrain Nottingham<->London and London<->Bournemouth ?

The best I can come up with for now with a fairly long route only for a few quid saving.

Friday:
Nottingham - Tamworth Off Peak Return £10.70 17.10-18:00
Tamworth - Euston Advance £7.90 18:20-19:52
Euston - Bournemouth advance £16 21:35-23:25

Sunday
Bournemouth - Southampton Advance £4.90 11:40-12:10
Southampton - Tamworth Advance £7.25 (via Barnham) 12:30-18.54
Use your Off peak return back to Notts. 19:09-20:00

Comes to £46.75. Might be able to come up with something cheaper.

I'd spotted 7.25 (railcard) fare for Southampton to Victoria (via Barnham) - hadn't realised you could go so far North for the same fare.

Just checking now there's excellent availability all the way from Southampton-Liverpool for the same price - that seems like excellent value (even if it is a rather leisurely journey).

The LM+SOUTHERN ONLY fares are excellent, there is even a £7.25 for Liverpool Lime Street - Southampton!

Ok, I found the fare but no times! So close! Especially with £4 singles to Bournemouth from Southampton
