I booked a ticket with London Northwestern but have only received the booking confirmation email, not the actual ticket, how do I get my ticket?
No, I was supposed to receive an e ticket, but only received the booking confirmation, NWR for some reason send out two separate emails..@thomasheywood. Where are you travelling? Have you booked tickets that require collecting from a station TVM, prior to travel?
Have you checked your spam folders? Or logged into your online account to see if it can be found there? No, I was supposed to receive an e ticket, but only received the booking confirmation, NWR for some reason send out two separate emails..
This happened to me once a couple of years ago. I went and spoke to the guard and showed him the booking confirmation, he let me travel. The ticket came through a few hours later. Thankfully where I was alighting had no gateline to get through. Not sure what would have happened in that situationWell my ticket finally arrived after three hours! Luckily I’m not due to travel until Saturday but what about when someone buys an advance ticket 15-20 minutes before departure and the ticket is never sent, will they be allowed to travel on just an email confirmation? And why do companies insist on sending separate emails for confirmations and etickets?
As Trainline's back-office system processes bookings in batches, it can take some time for tickets to be received. Initially this was up to four hours, though it's normally up to 15 minutes now. (London Northwestern use Trainline for their online booking system.)Well my ticket finally arrived after three hours!
