then returning evening time - stopper train to Hayes & Harlington using return portion to PAD - $8.50 HAY to Heathrow RAIL on Hethrow Connect - could we excess the return portion (changing still at HAY) - to a WNC -> Heathrow Route Not London Single? If yes how much would it cost?

THIS IS WHERE I AM STUCK

Journey Heathrow Rail -> Hayes & Harlington -> Windsor & Eton Ctrl (BREAK JOURNEY) -> PADDINGTON -> (KGX OR LST) -> NORWICH.

Preferably Not Stuck to Trains on Return Leg & again If Possible AVOIDING BUSSES!.

CHEAPEST - HAPPY TO TAKE ALL SUGGESTIONS RE OUTWARD & RETURN JOURNEYS.

Cross London Transfer Details - 1/2 Adults on Oyster (depending if we can find the second card!), 1 Child on 11-15 Zip Oyster & 1 Under 11.

It might not be the cheapest overall but I suggest you simplify things somewhat.
A Norwich to Windsor & Eton Central Off-Peak Return for two adults and two children is £77.90. This allows travel on any train on a permitted route (via Ely and Cambridge is probably best - via Peterborough may not be allowed). Yes, you may be able to save money with clever Advance fares but it adds up more than you think (plus you won't find any out to Windsor unless I'm very much mistaken). This also has the benefit of including cross-London fares in both directions.

Also, don't get the train from Windsor to Heathrow - it's the long way round and expensive too. I suggest either a taxi (probably £20-30 - maybe ring a taxi company in Windsor to check) or getting the number 77 bus: see http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/sou...ables/index.php?operator=1&page=2&redirect=no . A taxi may be surprisingly economical for a family of four (Windsor is really quite close), and will take you exactly wherever you want.

ok.... you can go via ely with the £77.90 off peak return to windsor and eton central on the 0552 changing at ely arriving Kings Cross at 0834...

We will probably be getting the suggestion of the 77 bus then the Legoland Shuttle.

Any Ideas if the accept Nation Bus Passes on those services (they should do - may be a twist for the legoland shuttle bus)

As their £8 'Explorer First Day' seem good value!

You'll be able to use the Bus Pass on the 77 - It's a perfectly normal bus. The shuttle I was less sure about - but it seems to be OK - http://www.rbwm.gov.uk/web/tdbus_park_ride.htm
