Quick check shows two options:

Advance tickets:

15 Feb:

Norwich dep 0800
London arr 0958
£28 (no advances before this unless you leave at 0530)

16 Feb:

London dep 1630
Norwich arr 1822
£21 (then rises to £39 until the 1900)
Total £49

Or buy an off peak return for £45 - first train 0830 arrive 1017; return on 1600 (arr 1753) or 1900 (arr 2051) but not in between.

The boundary station is Harold Wood, although Romford is also in zone 6. Don't forget though that a travelcard is a day product so you would need 2 whereas your return is valid over both days.

In general, the former NSE stations are those that have tickets from BZ6. Until relatively recently I was told that tickets were only available from BZ6, not to. However it does appear to be the case that they are available to BZ6 (at least according to Avantix Traveller).

Anyway Manningtree is the furthest station out of LST that has fares to/from BZ6, which is unsurprising as it's the furthest that is in the former NSE area.

Even more bizarrely, there is an Off Peak Return to BZ6. Note this however, it may only be valid if you hold a Travelcard season. Tickets to/from BZ6 are only valid with a Travelcard.

Two singles to/from BZ6 would be madness.
