From the new timetable change this service is now booked for a 4 car class 156, the unit that arrives Lowestoft at 1949 from Norwich couples upto the unit that arrives from Ipswich at 1943 and forms the 1955 Norwich.

The 1750 Norwich to Lowestoft is formed of 2x 153 units, the units split at Lowestoft (front unit forms the 1850 Norwich) and (rear unit forms the 2007 Ipswich).

So am i right in thinking that the Crew of the 156 that arrives from Ipswich at 1943 take the class 153 to Ipswich at 2007, and the crew of the 1949 arrival from Norwich take the 4 car back at 1955?? So between 1850 - 1943 there will be a class 153 unit sitting at Lowestoft (its to be hoped there are some staff in the booking office or security on the station as the train is open to vandalism or graffeti.

Just to clarify, this is the service booked for a 4 car 156 formation yes?

Driver of the 17.50 ex-Nrw didnt read his diagram properley one day this week. Both scuds went sailing back on the 18.50. It was the alert signaller who noticed & advised GA. Some quick unit swapping ensured all trains operated & correct units returned to Crown Point at the end of the day.
