Norton Bridge :
The footbridge was closed on H&S grounds
A survey is required for a new footbridge, still waiting

Bescot :
I can't find anything about this station closure
Bescot Stadium is showing as open

Closure proceedings and consultation with the local councils started for Norton Bridge in 2005, although there was talk of it being a stop on new Manchester - Birmingham stopper services last year.

I would rate its chances of ever seeing another train as low although Polesworth which had the proceedings started at the same time is to get a new footbridge soon

There is a road bridge very near to Polesworth station so I would have thought it would have been cheaper just to build a path from the other platform to the road and then both platforms could be used
