Cancellations seem to have been restricted mostly to the first trains of the day and with it being 2tph it hasnt had huge impact as there are usually 3 trains at any one time working the line. Suspect it is peak leave at Northern combined with sickness not that that is an excuse.

Infrastructure wise what has been a concern is the Obstacle Detection level crossings that seem to be failing far to often, especially during heavy rain. Not only in this causing delays to the trains it is causing huge traffic problems in Ashington as both North Seaton and Green Lane can be down for a long time with the train(s) sat at a red.
