Northern Website eTicket option

I'm just after some clarification. I'm looking to purchase a ticket on Northern's website and it's got the option to buy an eTicket. The choice on how to use the ticket is shown in the image. I have an Android phone with the Android / Google Wallet app installed. Can I add the ticket to my wallet? I'm assuming it's do-able and it's just the website needs update to include the appropriate wallet. Thanks in advance for help.
EDIT: I have the Northern app installed - does downloading the tickets to the app download them as a m-ticket rather than an e-ticket? And I assume that the "Show the tickets on your phone" does as a PDF file?

Yes, just open the pdf and show the barcode.

No, they need to be specifically formatted for Google Wallet.

The LNER app will allow you to keep your tickets in the Google wallet

I've just bought my tickets using the Northern website & received the email, part of which contains the following screenshot.

I've opened the email on my phone and now have the tickets in my Google Wallet. (As an aside I have a Google Pixel 4a, but I think it's safe to assume other Android hones capable of using the wallet should be able to do the same as me).

It's easier just to buy the tickets in the Northern app using Google Pay, then the tickets appear in the app as etickets and you can also show the pdf from the confirmation email, assuming you can pick up your emails on your phone.
