Hi all,

regarding the above, does anyone know if accommodation is provided and whether travel to and from training at the beginning and end of each week is covered.

The training is based in Leeds and is just over 2 hours in terms of commute time.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Hi ToonSupa,

My understanding is that you have the option to stay in a hotel Mon-Thurs nights, or travel every day and be paid overtime for travel times etc. I believe they also cover food costs if you choose to stay.

I'm still awaiting formal paperwork with all the details and instructions etc, but this is what I've found out from speaking to somebody on the course ahead of me.

Cheers

Unless it's changed the training school had to be a certain distance from your home depot (not home address) to qualify for a hotel. Best check with HR regarding the current situation.

Travel was included and you were given an allowance for an evening meal. Breakfast was included with the room.

As above of it hasn't changed its 90 minutes travelling from your home (depot) station to Leeds station.
