Does anyone know when they'll be looking for people to start from the recent recruitment drive for Leeds?

I had the Assessment day on Friday which seemed to go OK (fingers crossed) and I should hear something next week.

I'd say January mate but that's not for definite. I was told January for training for a Piccadilly Vacancy after I heard back regarding my assessment day. No confirmed date as of yet though.

cheers mate. The guys that did my interview where kinda hinting at January but didn't confirm it. To be honest I'm in no immediate rush as I already have a job.

Hopefully I did OK at the assessment day and I'll get an offer. Its a job I've always had an interest in.

Yeah I got an email last Monday which was 5 days after my assessment saying I had passed and they would be in touch regarding 'January start dates' once they had confirmed them. So I'd imagine you'll find out either way sometime this week.

Good luck mate.

I finally got the call I was hoping for today and confirmed as being successful at the assessment day.

I was told they are no vacancies at the minute but hopefully roles should be available early 2017 - Jan/Feb. Does anyone if Jan/Feb is a likely date? Also could I be waiting for months to find I wont have a job at the end of it?

I do have a medical next week and see this as a positive thing or is this just part of the process with no guaranteed outcome?

I would assume that given the fact that you're going on a medical is a strong indication that you will be offered employment fairly soon, I passed my assessment and waited in the talent pool for just short of a year.

I was only given a medical appointment when they offered me employment, there's lots of courses atm, roughly every two months and a Drivers course is starting on the 21st November so any guards going on that course will need to be replaced.

I'm fairly confident you'll be posting on here that you have been offered a contract before the years out, good luck.

Has anyone from the recent recruitment drive in Leeds received a start date yet? I had my medical on Friday which was all good but no confirmed dates yet.

Finally got the call today to say I'd been added to a training course in Leeds starting on the 27th March.:D:D. Thanks for all your advice on here. Fun times ahead
