Northern trainee conductor interview

Hi guys,

I've seen a few people have had the interview for Northern trainee conductor interview recently, as I have mine on Thursday I wonder if any successful trainees or current conductors can give me any advice for the interview? Perhaps what questions to look out for, anything in particular to brush up on, hints and tips etc? Would really appreciate it! Naturally my first port of call will be to brush up on the company itself!

As you say brush up on the company. Nothing worse than not having a clue about what the role entails or what the company is about...

Expect a couple of customer service questions, a couple of questions about dealing with difficult situations and the usual why do you want to be a conductor and what is your understanding of what a conductor does.
