Northern shunter job rejection

Hi all I have just had a rejection email regarding a shunters job at Stockport with northern rail.I also have a live application for trainee driver at picc which is at the short listing stage.my applications were pretty similar so I'm fearing the worst. Has anybody else on here applied for the shunter job at Stockport and made it through, or do you think the likelihood is that it was filled internally. Cheers in advance

Look on the bright side, perhaps they thought you're better suited for the Trainee Driver than as a Shunter:D
